The AM4115T-DFRW handheld Dino-Lite microscope camera is designed to observe mNeptune protein. This model uses 1 White LED and 7 Red LEDs with Excitation: 620nm, Emission: 650nm. The image quality obtained with this Dino-Lite is comparable or superior to some traditional fluorescence microscope, but much less to difficult obtain and maintain. It is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel sensor and utilizes a rotatable magnification dial with a range of 10x - 50x, 220x depending of working distance, a scroll lock feature for assuring desired set magnification/ focus distance, and a cable strain relief (SR) that holds the Dino-Lite and its USB Cable together for resistance from pulls and twists. There is also a white light switchable by included software for aid in focus and location. The Dino-Lite Premier AM4115T-DFRW provides an improved sensor that uses the YUY2 codec which uses less compression, resulting in a higher quality image and valuable price per performance tool for researchers or users interested in observing mNeptune protein specimens.
